SLO' BOAT 3

rolling, rolling, rolling on the river

a bit cramped
for a 6 hour boat ride
but plenty of good vibes

SLO' BOAT

slow boat from China heading downstream,
destination Luang Prabang

Way back in India I heard about the slow boat to Luang Prabang. Two days of leisurely cruising down the Me Kong. Out there, nothing but the mountains and the jungle. Scenes of Apocalypse Now came to my mind. Taveling not to arrive but for the sake of the journey. I knew I just had to do it.
With hard wooden benches, low roof and lack of on board toilet it is not exactly a honeymoon cruise, ay. Fortunately, the captain made a couple of stops along the way and we all eagerly jumped ship to stretch the legs and relieve the bladder
